Goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama says he is counting on his Nations Cup experience to retain his number one spot at Asante Kotoko. The Burkinabe goalkeeper was Kotoko's first choice before leaving for the tournament in South Africa. Soulama played a cameo role in the Stallions historic silver medal winning feat after picking up a red card in their second Group D match against Ethiopia which resulted in him losing his position to second choice Daouda Diakite. He had previously played in three Nations Cup finals and wants to return. "I'm back to training now and hopefully I will keep my position as number one," Soulama told JOY Sports "I have played about four Nations Cup and I think is a good experience for me as a player."
