Former President John Mahama has bashed the current administration for what he believes has been a “recent upsurge in incidences of corruption” since he left office in 2016.
“Consistent with the spirit of the 37th anniversary of the 31st December Revolution, I urge President Akufo-Addo to give meaning to his pledge to fight corruption and nepotism by investigating and prosecuting the many allegations made against his appointees,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.
He further added that the NPP-led administration has deviated from the revolutionary values Ghana has stood on since its independence.
