Hundreds of families have turned up at the Joy Fm Family Party in the Park which is underway at the Legon Botanical Gardens.
The event, which undoubtedly has become the biggest family outdoor event, is designed to foster close family ties being lost to pressures of work.
It also provides platform for the various participating families to know each other through networking.
Some patrons who spoke to JOY NEWS say they are “having the fun and excitement they expected”.
The event is loaded with lots of fun-filled activities for families.
This year’s event introduced a new game called “How fast can you eat the apple?” and some children say they are “anxious to participate and hope to have fulfilled fun day”.
