The Business Manager of Multimedia Group Limited, Charles Vandyck, Editor of the The Mail, Alhaji Haruna Atta, legal practitioner Yonny Kulendi, and Executive Director of MFWA,Prof. Kwame Karikari have all been named in the new list of board members of the governing bodies of corporations managing the state owned media.
A statement issued by the National Media Commission said the appointments were made in consultation with the President.
This, the statement said, is in accordance with Article 168 of the 1992 Constitution and section 2 (1) (e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449).
The appointments take immediate effect and are for a period of two years.
