Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has scored his first goal for Indian club NorthEast United.
The striker scored on his debut appearance as the club shared the spoils 1-1 with a Blue Tigers in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday evening.
The 33-year-old scored on the stroke of halftime to cancel out Tiger’s early lead to prevent NorthEast from losing.
Gyan joined NorthEast on a free transfer last month after leaving Turkish club Kayserispor in June.
The Indian Super League season will start on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
