Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, on Wednesday held a consultative meeting with national executives of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT).
The discussions centred on improving teaching and learning in our schools, challenges facing teachers and its effects on quality education and suggestions from the graduate teachers to tackle and improve on existing challenges and issues.
Present were the National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, and senior members of the party including Professor Joshua Alabi, Madam Sherry Ayittey, Moses Magbengba and the Ranking Member on the Education Committee in parliament Hon. Nortsu Kortoe.
Also present were Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Barbara Asamoah, Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Hon. Ahmed, a former Deputy Minister for Education Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the Deputy Ranking Member on the Education Committee Dr. Clement Apaak.
