The minority NDC Members of Parliament have called off their indefinite boycott after staying away from parliamentary proceedings for more than a week.
The MPs staged the boycott in solidarity with their colleague Dan Abodakpi who was handed a 10-year jail term a fortnight ago for causing financial loss of $400,000 to the State.
The Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrissu told Joy News that the decision to go back to Parliament followed a recommendation from the National Executive Council and a call from the jailed MP to the caucus to return to the House.
He said the group was expecting a hearing of an appeal filed in court and that sympathizing members would lend their support during the period.
