Residents of Dzita and Fuveme in the Keta municipality of the Volta Region been displaced by fierce tidal waves that swept through the communities recently.
Properties including homes were hit by the raging sea waves last week.
A similar occurrence in June 2014 left the residents devastated as it destroyed properties and brought economic activities to a halt.
Member of Parliament (MP) for Anlo Constituency, Clemence Kofi Humado, visited the area to see the extent of damage in the latest situation promised to ensure affected residents get relief items, however that is yet to happen.
The residents are therefore calling on the authorities, particularly the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to come to their aid.
They are also pleading with government to find a permanent solution for the problem.
According to them the sea waves breach into their homes unannounced even when they resettle far from the shore.
The effect of the tidal waves have persisted for many years.

Experts said in 2011 that iif the sea continues to rise between 2 and 6 metres annually, about 2,000 residents in the Keta Municipality will be completely displaced.
