Fire officers have been struggling to quench a fire outbreak at the premises of Atlantis Radio, an Accra private radio station.
The fire which started around 8pm has destroyed several properties in the first floor of the building worth millions of Ghana cedis.
The cause of fire is not yet known but fire officers suspected that it was caused by electrical fault.
Huge crowd including workers of the station were assisting fire fighters to quench the blaze when Joy News got to the scene.
Kwame Farkye, a presenter at the station, noted how horrific the situation was describing it as “tragic and sad”.
He blamed it on power fluctuation and frequent power outages.
