Greater Accra, Kumasi, and part of the Central region have been on lockdown since President Akufo-Addo's directive took effect on Monday, March 30, 2020.

The lockdown is expected to last for 14-days pending a review by the President.

While this has been denied by the Ghana Armed Forces, civil society organisations are not too happy with the development.

Residents in the affected areas are now being urged to stay home and avoid encounters with these personnel who have set up roadblocks and checkpoints at every junction. But what are people's experiences and how are they coping with the lockdown?
