Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Joana Gyan Foundation has been installed as the 'Mpuntuo Hemaa' [development queenmother] of Wasa Agona Amenfi.
Being a native of Western North Region town, she was crown on Saturday with the stool name Nana Adwoa Awo I when she visited the town with her NGO.
The Joana Gyan Foundation had made a stop there to donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), fumigate and disinfect the township.Â

The wife of singer Andrew of Keche fame's Foundation also helped to mount certain infrastructure developments in the town.Â
Older folks of the town explained that she is bestowed this tremendous obligation because of her concern and her accessibility to improve the lives of the people in the town.Â
As Mpuntuo Hemaa, Nana Adwoa Awo I is to support and help with the further improvement of the area.
Meanwhile, the Foundation is on a mission to help combat the coronavirus in Wasa Agona Amenfi.

The organisation hired the services of Delete Ghana, a waste management and environmental protection company tofumigate churches, mosques, the palace, police station and the markets on Friday.
This forms part of the Joana Gyan Foundation social responsibility and the governments’ effort to curb the spread of the virus.
There were a team of financial experts who educated the inhabitants of Wasa Agona Amenfi on their finances while another team of health practitioners screened without cost.Â
They donated face masks, hand sanitizers and other items to inhabitants.
