The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) Albert Kassim Diwura has urged small business operatives to come up with innovative ways of engaging customers.
According to him, the Covid-19 pandemic has taken a toll on small businesses in the country, hence the need for more creative initiatives in these times.
He urged businesses to use this time to learn something new, especially how to use social media as a medium to promote their wares to enable them emerge stronger after the Covid-19 period.
Albert Kassim Diwura made these pronouncements while donating some sanitary items to the region towards the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
He said GEPA is aware of the challenges many businesses continue to face due to the pandemic but added that the Authority would continue to work hard per its mandate to develop and promote Ghana’s non-traditional exports to ease the situation.

Mr. Diwura noted that, with Ghana recording new confirmed cases of the coronavirus daily, it is important for citizens to join the fight instead of leaving government to bear all the responsibility.
The Deputy CEO advised Ghanaians to continue observing the health protocols prescribed by government and health authorities.
This he said is the only way to combat the disease.
The items donated included 200 bottles of alcohol-based sanitizers, 200 face masks, 4 veronica buckets, liquid soaps, disposable tissue, and trash bins.
