Kumawood actress Kyeiwaa, born Rose Mensah aka Akua Ataa, has finally had her white wedding in America.
The veteran actress and Micheal Kissi Asare, a Ghanaian based in the United States, tied the knot in Worcester, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
A video from the wedding showed up on social media, shows Kyeiwaa insisting on saying her marital vows in English.
The video shows the officiating minister leading her to say the vows in Twi. Keeping to her 'Kyeiwaa' character, Akua Ataa said the first two lines in Twi and decided to switch to English, continuing with “My Dear Michael…”
This compelled the officiating minister to also switch to English.
Those present erupted into laughter and cheered her on as she went on to finish her vows in English.
