Anderlecht are interested in taking Ashimeru on a six month initial loan deal with an option to buy.
So far, Salzburg are quoting €6 million for the 23-year-old and Anderlecht will have to cough that amount to make the deal permanent in the summer.
Ashimeru has made 35 appearances for Salzburg, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
