The Ghana Statistical Service has set the third week of June to embark on the 2021 Population and Housing Census.
The population census involves the collection, compilation, evaluation, analysis, publication and dissemination of demographic, social and economic statistics relating to Ghana's population.
The housing Census also implies the collection, compilation, evaluation, analysis, publication, and dissemination of statistical data pertaining to living quarters in Ghana and their occupants.
The 2021 PHC is designed to generate statistics that are essential for policy and planning purposes. It is therefore of the greatest importance to every person living in Ghana.
In the light of this, JoyNews' George Wiafe hosted Government Statistician, Prof Samuel Kobina Annim as they delve into the impact of population census on the economy and businesses on today's PM Express, Business Edition.
