Vice President of Events and Meetings Professionals Association of Ghana (EMPAG), Kojo Poku, has lauded Showbiz A-Z crew on JoyFM for the confirmed plan to broadcast from Kumasi this weekend.
Kojo Poku, otherwise known as Big Ideaz, praised the JoyFM entertainment desk, while speaking to host George Quaye on Showbiz A-Z on Saturday February 26, 2022.
The Event Manager admitted that the initiative, which will see to the Showbiz A-Z crew tour Kumasi, and have a discussion on tourism in the region on March 5, is laudable.
According to him, “it is a brilliant idea; I think that we should have the whole month dedicated to promoting domestic tourism”.
Expatiating on his opinion, Kojo Poku suggested that the initiative should be replicated in all regions across the country through various events.
This he believes will create an avenue for the public to witness the many other exciting tourist destinations in parts of the country, instead of travelling beyond the shores of Ghana.
“We should be having events at the Wli Water Falls, Cape Coast Castle, and all over [the country] for people who travel outside Ghana and take their children out of Ghana to feel the need to take their children to [tourist sites in Ghana instead]," he opined.
Showbiz A-Z, will on Saturday replicate the success of its 2021 Cape Coast edition of Ghana’s most authoritative entertainment talk show, Showbiz A-Z.
This year, on March 5, to mark Ghana Month on Joy, the show will broadcast live from the Center for National Culture, with a focus on unraveling the mystery and untold stories of the Ashanti Kingdom as well as discuss its evolution and contribution to tourism and the creative space at large.
Join the exciting line-up of events on Joy 99.7 fm, or through Joy Entertainment social media handles.
