Some commuters in the Ashanti region have expressed worries over excessive speeding of commercial vehicles, leading to a high spate of road accidents on the Kumasi-Accra highway.
They, therefore, welcome the caution by the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) for transport operators to improve their quality of service to reduce road crashes, injuries and death.
Some drivers, however, say the restrictions imposed by NRSA on inter-city mini-buses could bite hard on their finances.
