A philanthropist, Nana Alhaji Abdul Razak, has donated an ambulance to the National Ambulance Service in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region.
The donation was made to help further enhance the emergency care delivery system in the area.
During a ceremony on Sunday, November 5 at Tokyo City in Nsutam, Abdul Razak stated that the area is accident prone, so there is a need to support the already existing logistics of the Service, for the betterment of the locality.

“Fanteakwa South district is a hotspot in terms of road accidents, so as an indigene, I was determined to give a helping hand,“ he said.
The District Health Director of the area, Mrs Margaret Nyarko, also expressed joy at the noble gesture of the philanthropist.

“Today is a happy day for the health fraternity at Fanteakwa, the newly donated ambulance will augment the already existing fleet,“ she said.

The Eastern Regional Administrative Manager of National Ambulance Service, PAEMT Micheal Gaani, who represented the CEO, Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah, thanked Mr. Razak for his kindhearted gesture and urged others to emulate him.
