The senior national women’s volleyball team, the Black Spikers yesterday beat their Gambian counterpart at the ongoing 13th African Games at Borteyman Sports Complex.
The Gambians' early lead did not deter the home base as the Black Spikers changed their tactics with accurate passes and perfect interceptions from the opposing side that made them dominate throughout the game.
Ghana recorded a straight sets win (3-0) over Gambia in their opening group B fixture.
