The event, themed "Hajj Reforms: Prioritising Transparency, Accountability and Best Practice," is scheduled for August 24-25, 2024, in Accra.
This aims to develop a transparent, accountable, inclusive, and sustainable policy framework upholding Islamic values.
This information was contained in a press release signed by COMOG President Abdel-Manan Abdel Rahman on July 18.
A preceding workshop on July 27 will engage major major Muslim Stakeholder Organisations and Institutions (MSOIs) and private Hajj operators on the draft Hajj Management Policy Framework.
The dialogue seeks to bring together stakeholders from various sects, Muslim Chiefs, media, NGOs, academia, and professional groups to discuss and shape the future of sustainable Hajj management in Ghana.
