SEED Academy Ghana has announced the SEED Elite Camp 2024, a premier event blending basketball training, leadership development, and life-skills education.
The camp is set to take place on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the University of Ghana Basketball Court in Accra.
Spearheaded by SEED Academy Ghana founder and former NBA player Pops Mensah-Bonsu, the event will bring together young athletes under 18 from various academies across the country.
Participants will benefit from expert coaching and guidance, as well as workshops aimed at fostering personal and athletic growth.
“We are thrilled to announce the SEED Academy Ghana Elite Camp 2024, a transformative experience that combines world-class basketball training with life-skills development,” said Pop Mensah-Bonsu, founder of SEED Academy Ghana.

He also expressed gratitude to RITE Sports Services for their collaboration, emphasizing their shared vision of empowering Ghana’s youth through sports.
Ahead of the camp, SEED Academy Ghana will host its inaugural SEED Sports Leadership Summit on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the University of Ghana Business School.
This summit will feature discussions on basketball development and career opportunities, led by Mensah-Bonsu and Basketball Africa League (BAL) Vice President John Manyo-Plange.
Earlier that same morning, 56 campers and 100 youth from selected non-profits will take part in the Community Day of Play at the University of Ghana Athletic Oval and Basketball Court. Activities will include basketball and other sports, showcasing SEED’s dedication to community engagement.
Since its founding in 2018, SEED Academy Ghana has worked to empower youth through sports and education, fostering leadership and driving social transformation.
