Known for some daring plays like In The Pants Of A Woman (themed on rape), Once Upon A Riddle (themed on death), and The Boy Called A Girl (themed on LGBT) among others, Ghanaian playwright Kobina Ansah is taking theatre a notch higher this Easter. His new play, The Saint In The Devil's Shoes, is a one-man original musical.
2025 marks his decade of impacting society through theatre and Kobina Ansah hopes to leave a lasting impression with his new play themed on the rippling effects of corruption. In the musical play, a public servant with only 24 hours to pay his debt runs into an abandoned house that has more secrets than he expected.

"I love to dare myself with every play I write. I want to do the extraordinary. A one-cast play is a hard one, and I love to do hard things," he confesses.
'The Saint In The Devil's Shoes', in partnership with Joy FM, is set to be staged live at the National Theatre on April 18 (Easter Friday) and April 19 (Easter Saturday). Each day has 2 showings: 3pm and 7pm.
