North Legon Little Campus emerged as the overall winner at the second season of the 2025 Ghana International Schools Sports Festival held on Saturday at the Borteyman Sports Complex.
The event brought together pupils from KG2 to Grade 6, who participated in various disciplines including basketball, athletics, football, and other engaging outdoor activities designed to entertain and build teamwork among students.
While Vine Christian School, Dominion International School, and Soul Clinic proved to be strong contenders in the track and field events, it was North Legon Little Campus that stole the spotlight by clinching both the boys’ and girls’ football titles.
The remarkable feat was a historic first for the competition, much to the delight of their coach, Stephan Oklu, who couldn’t hide his excitement after the final whistle.
“This feeling is amazing,I’m short of words. Indeed, hard work really pays off. For the first time in this competition, one school has won both the boys' and girls' football competitions,” Oklu said.
The festival drew an enthusiastic crowd of parents, teachers, and well-wishers, all of whom came out in full support to cheer the young athletes as they competed with energy, spirit, and pride.
