A new, gripping action-comedy film featuring some of the nation’s best-known screen actors like Gloria Sarfo, Andrew Adote, Nikki Samonas, Ben Affat and Bukom Banku, will soon hit our cinema screens.
Titled Hero’s Ride – Baby Thief, the film is produced by AI Media Limited in collaboration with PETROSOL. It follows the thrilling adventures of Ben, a smart Bolt driver who finds himself at the centre of a criminal plot when a deal to buy a stolen baby goes awry.
Together with his friends at the local taxi station, Ben launches a daring mission to expose a powerful child-stealing syndicate—at great personal risk.
The film blends high-paced action, streetwise humour, and socially-conscious storytelling in a way that’s both entertaining and thought-provoking. The project will also be adapted into a six-part online series to expand its reach on digital platforms.
An agreement expressing commitment to first-rate work has already been signed between the two components in the production.

AI Media is a Ghanaian film production house with a track record in producing world-class indigenous content, including Sun City, Gold Coast and Omo Ghana.
According to Mr. Kwame Boadi, AI Media’s Managing Director, his company was happy to bring together an exceptional cast and a fascinating story in the bold collaboration with PETROSOL.
“Hero’s Ride – Baby Thief promises to entertain while provoking dialogue about important real-world issues," Mr Boadi stated.
PETROSOL Platinum Energy is a privately-owned ISO-certified Ghanaian oil marketing company (OMC). It is known in the petroleum downstream industry for its commitment to service excellence and industry best practices.
Mr. Michael Bozumbil, PETROSOL’s CEO, also pointed out that the partnership with AI Media highlighted how Ghanaian businesses could invest meaningfully in the arts to support stories that inspire change.
“We are delighted to champion a production that not only celebrates Ghanaian talent and energises the dreams of such talents in the creative space, but also raises awareness about the need for us to be agents of change in our communities," the PETROSOL CEO added.
