In a significant step towards strengthening educational and cultural ties between Ghana and Russia, the Ghana Russia Center for Commerce and Relations (The Center) and Ukhta State Technical University (USTU) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The ceremony, held recently marks the beginning of a new era in collaboration between the two institutions.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including Rector Ruslan Viktorovich Aginey, Natalia Sergeevna Henkina, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Strategic Communications, Maria Aleksandrovna Mikheyevskaya, Vice-Rector for Academics and Digitalization, Semen Petrovich Bashkirov, Head of Industrial Partnerships Group, Anastasia Mikhailovna Osolodkina, Head of the International Department, and Nelson Kodzo Kumaga, IT Specialist, representative of Ukhta State Technical University for International Relations.
"We're excited to explore opportunities in joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, and capacity-building programs. Our shared goal is to advance knowledge, drive technological progress, and foster global understanding," said Ruslan Viktorovich Aginey, Rector of Ukhta State Technical University.

The Chief Executive Officer of The Ghana-Russia Center, John Aggrey, expressed his joy, stating, "This partnership aligns with our mission and vision to strengthen bilateral relations, promoting higher education, and cultural exchange. We look forward to fruitful collaboration, mutual benefit, and a brighter future for our institutions and students."
The Ghanaian delegation included the Head of International Operations, Ekow Taylor, Head of Business Development, Madam Ziona Ayorkor Holm, and Head of Human Resource and Finance, Vera Narkie Ababio.
This historic partnership marks a significant milestone in efforts to strengthen Ghana-Russia relations. As both institutions embark on this collaborative journey, they are poised to make a positive impact on the global community.
