The World Conference of Mayors, Inc. (WCM Inc.), headquartered in Tuskegee, Alabama, has appointed Ghanaian author and youth mentor David Raphaelle Kwaku Antwi, also known as Author Ralph, as head of its Global Youth Network.
The Global Youth Network is designed to help prepare the next generation of leaders across various sectors, including governance.
Through mentoring, conferences and other development activities, the network aims to reach, train and impact young people for the broader benefit of society.
The appointment was made by Mayor Johnny Lawrence Ford, founder of WCM Inc., as part of the organisation’s broader efforts to promote improved leadership globally, with a particular focus on governance.
Author Ralph is a Ghanaian writer credited with more than 60 bestselling books and the founding president of the Relevant Achievers Impacting Nations (RAIN) Foundation.
He is also known for mentoring and supporting young people for nearly three decades.
He is credited with raising hundreds of successful writers and supporting the transformation of many individuals who were previously socially disadvantaged.
This year, the Global Youth Network is expected to host five strategic inaugural conferences across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
