The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Dr Dramani Bukari Ecomog, has died in London after a short illness.
A source at the NPA confirmed the devastating news to Myjoynline on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
Some government officials and other members of the incumbent party have corroborated the demise through posts on social media.
Details surrounding his illness and the circumstances of his death have not yet been made public.
Further information on his funeral and burial arrangements is expected to be communicated by the family and the NPA.
