Ghana international, Derek Boateng would play in the La Liga next season after agreeing a move from German outfit Cologne.
Boateng is expected to sign a four-year contract with Getafe after passing a medical on Monday before his official presentation.
The midfielder travelled to Spain on Friday after both clubs agreed to the financial terms of the deal.
Boateng thus makes a quick switch after just six months in Germany having joined Cologne from Beitar Jerusalem in January this year.
Spain is now the fifth country that the 26-year old Boateng will play in since he left Ghana after previously playing in Greece, Sweden, Israel and Germany.
