Ghana striker Prince Tagoe is staying calm after having his contract ended by German club Hoffenheim on health grounds.
Hoffenheim on Wednesday announced that they had cancelled the striker's three-year contract due to health concerns despite the same player having passed a medical test before his signing.
But their claim has been denied by Tagoe and his agent based subsequent tests.
In the midst of the controversy, Tagoe told KickOffGhana.com that he is fine and says a second test carried out by doctors has proven different to that of his club.
"I have been running and training since this issue happened," he said.
"I have not allowed it to worry and I hope Ghanaians will adopt the same attitude. I feel fine and hopefully with my representatives we can see this issue through to its logical conclusion. As far as I know I am fit and good to play football."
