Sampon Kablan, FIFA Development Officer for West Africa has praised the Ghana Football Association for its transparent dealings with the world sport body.
The development officer says Fifa is satisfied with the FA, who have expended judiciously the two previous Goal Projects in the country.
“Why Ghana,” he said. “The FA is doing very well and Fifa is ready to help. Fifa helps associations who work to achieve a good place for the game.
“Ghana is very transparent. And they are doing great which makes Fifa want to help. We are looking ahead to work with Ghana again with Future course to be held here (Ghana).
“We are happy to assist Ghana and develop the game.
“Fifa wants teams to be professional. After this course, we can look into the future,” Sampon Kablan said after the signing of the Fifa Goal III agreement.
Ghana is to benefit from the Fifa Goal III project after officials on Thursday signed an agreement to construct a $425,000 multi-purpose dining and conference facility plus a kitchen at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
