West African Football Academy head coach, John Killa has called on the disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association to descend heavily on his striker Majeed Ashimeru.
This follows violent conduct by the player during Sunday's First Capital Plus premiership game against All Stars in Wa.
The Dutchman was of the view that violent conduct had no place in modern soccer and players who practice such unprofessional behaviors should be heavily dealt with.
"It was a deserved red card, a straight red card," the coach admitted.
"He tried kicking the player. It is very stupid, he did a couple of time already before. I hope that that they punish him for seven or eight games. It is the only punishment those young players can learn from. That is what I think."
The match was part of the matchday 16 fixtures and WAFA lost 2-0 and a result they've dropped to third in the standings.
John Killa was awarded the Premier League coach of the month in February after leading his team to pick eleven out of the fifteen points available.
