Officials of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) are scheduled to arrive in Accra on Thursday, May 10, to begin a three-day inspection tour of the venues and facilities being put in place for the 26th MTN Ghana CAN 2008 Football Tournament.The inspection tour will be the fifth official visit to Ghana in relation to the preparations for the tournament, since the nation was given the hosting rights.Issues relating to medical facilities, infrastructure, and all four areas that raised concerns during the last visit in November are expected to take centre stage.The areas relating to the live-feed production, training pitches for the tournament, and external works at some of the stadia, and the provision of accommodation for guests were raised during that visit.The inspection team will be led by Mr. Slim Aloulou, Member of the CAF Executive Committee.CAF Medical & Doping Committee Members will also be in attendance.Source: GNA
