Coach Sellas Tetteh is optimistic ahead of Liberty's participation in the Wafu tournament which is to take place in Togo this weekend.
Liberty left Accra on Tuesday night ahead of the championship which includes three other teams.
The Danosman-based side progressed after victories over Burkinabe side Asfa Yennega and Sunshine FC from Nigeria in the qualifying rounds.
The revamped West African tournament kicks start on Friday and the head coach is positive about their chances.
"We are confident of doing well in the championship to once again put the name of Ghana on a high note, he told Ghanasoccernet.com, adding, "we were very impressive during the qualifying round and I am hopeful we can continue in that regard.
He however added that "we lost in our last premier league match against AshGold, but we have gone back to the drawing board and rectify the problem and I am convinced we will forge ahead."
