Eric Bekoe struck his 9th and 10th League goals in eleven games in Egypt to pile the pressure on Milovan Rajevac as he prepares to name his Black Stars squad for the 2010 Nations Cup in Angola.
The former Asante Kotoko star and double Ghana goal king is leading the scorer’s chat current in Egypt having scored twice in Petrojet’s 2-1 win over El-Geish.
Bekoe’s goal scoring prowess in Egypt has led to increased calls for his inclusion in the Black Stars squad for the Nations Cup and his rich vein of goal scoring form will do him no harm at all.
But he has been consistently overlooked by Milovan Rajevac and seems almost resigned to the fact that he won’t be picked for the tournament.
