Ghana will line up in a high profile friendly against Argentina on May 29 as both countries prepare for the 2010 World Cup.
KickOffGhana.com understands both countries have agreed in principle for the match to take place in London.
It will be the first major friendly for the Black Stars after the completion of the major European leagues and will provide the team with the crucial test of facing some of the best players in the world including Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
Ghana lost a recent friendly 2-0 against Argentina but it was a game reserved for only home based players. The London meeting therefore will be the first encounter between the regular sides of the two countries.
It will also mark the start of an intensive two days for the Stars with the team due to play Holland on June 1.
While the Black Stars will be hoping the game will prepare them adequately for the test of facing Germany, Australia and Serbia in the group stages of the 2010 World Cup, Argentina will have Ghana's arch rivals Nigeria in mind when they play that friendly.
