Barcelona lifted the second edition of the Asempa FM and Multi TV Fire for Fire Soccer Gala 2015 tournament played at the Wembley Sports Complex on Saturday.
It was an exciting finale as hundreds of fans of Ghana's most listened to sports programme, Fire for Fire, gathered at the arena in Kotobabi.
They were there not only to celebrate the uniqueness of the show and its passionate host, Countryman Songo, but to show love for their most cherished European clubs as well.
It is no doubt that Ghana abounds in great football talents but the exhilarating skills by football fans shown on the day was a beautiful sight.
In a round-robin format, fans of eight European clubs and two local clubs - Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and AC Milan - competed for the coveted trophy and cash prize at stake.
The final game was fiercely contested between Barcelona and Manchester United with fans of the Spanish side scoring two goals in regulation to win the coveted trophy and cash prize.
Captain of Barcelona Vincent Agbenyegah was adjudged the overall best player of the tournament.
Head of Sports of the Multimedia Group, Sammy Yirenkyi said the objective of the tournament was to increase bonding between the Fire for Fire brand and its listeners.
