Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), parent company of the Ecobank Group, has announced the resignation from its Board of Directors of Mrs Sheila Mmbijjewe.
Mrs Mmbijjewe’s resignation follows her appointment as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya.
Her replacement on the ETI Board will be announced in due course, ETI has stated.
ETI has also announced the resignation from its Board of Mr. Graham Dempster, following his retirement from Nedbank.
Mr Dempster has been replaced on the ETI Board by Mr Mfundo Nkuhlu, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Nedbank.
Mr Nkuhlu has held his current position with Nedbank since the 1st of January 2015.
He joined the bank in 2004 and has held other senior positions at the company.
Before Nedbank, he was General Manager for Strategy and Planning at the South African Revenue Service.
