As part of its efforts to transform society, the Deeper Christian Life Ministry has launched its Aid Organization in Accra.
Dubbed the Deeper Life-Ghana Aid Organisation (DLAiD), it will assist vulnerable and needy people in society.
Some of the areas that DLAiD will cover include educational support programme including scholarships for students from basic to tertiary levels; Livelihood Creation and Enhancement for wards of beneficiaries; Health Wellness promotion programmes; Humanitarian and Emergency Relief Programme, and Drug Use Prevention and Rehabilitation.
Speaking at the launch, the General Overseer of the Deeper Life Ministry Ghana, Pastor John Boham said giving back to society has been the hallmark of the church.
He noted that as apart from their core values, which is preaching the word of God, they also have a social responsibility towards the society, especially the less privileged.
This Pastor Boham said, has informed the Church’s involvement in social work to reach out to the needy and to transform lives of vulnerable in society.
Also, Alexis Danikuu, the Resource Person, said the DLAiD sought to be a leading faith based organization in sustainable development of relief services in Ghana.
He said they will prioritise and direct resources to where it is needed most to ensure equity in their service.
“We will render services irrespective of one’s religious background”, he said.
