The Ghanaian gospel music industry has been knocking on the doorsteps of the international scene for so long that hope was waning but gladly a son of Ghana is opening the doors.
Sonnie Badu is one of the chosen worship leaders of our time, a songwriter, composer, arranger and business man. His unique blend of intimate worship, high class visuals, and his energetic style of ushering congregations into the presence of God is affecting lives worldwide.
On 31st of May 2010, Sonnie will share the stage once again with some of the world’s greatest gospel icons such as Donnie McClurkin, Bebe & Cece Winnans, Faith Evans, Yolanda Adams, Martha Munizzi and J Moss and many others at Wembley Arena, London, UK for this year’s Oraclez World Gospel Festival and Awards (Ceremony).
Oraclez is described as the biggest gospel event to hit the stage in the UK and it normally attracts one of the biggest crowds in gospel music history.
The Wembley Arena which has hosted some of world’s biggest names in music like Michael Jackson, Rihanna, ABBA and Beyoncé seats about 12,500 and it is London's second largest indoor arena after the O2 arena and third largest indoor concert venue after the O2 and Earls Court One.
