The African Network of Entrepreneurs, an award winning social enterprise in partnership with Avance Media, has released the list of startups nominated for the Ghana Startups Club 100 – a list of top 100 globally competitive startups in the country.
Shortlisted from a comprehensive list of several groundbreaking and high growth startups by Ghanaians; ‘‘these 100 startups have become or are on their way to becoming market leaders in their respective industries’’, according to the African Network of Entrepreneurs.
The list cuts across several sectors including Agriculture, Finance & Investments, Fashion, Technology, Media, Entertainment, Manufacturing, Health, Education, Retail and e-Commerce, Energy and Social Enterprise.
The Ghana Startups Club 100, the first ever such project in the country is ultimately aimed at promoting and enhancing the capacity of Startups in the country.
The rankings are expected to be released at the Ghana Startup Awards slated for later in the year. Meanwhile nominations have opened for 2016 Ghana Startup Awards aimed at recognizing Ghanaian startups and entrepreneurs which have been at the forefront of leading Innovative in the Ghanaian business community.
