President John Mahama has appointed, the second deputy, Controller and Accountant General, Seidu Kotomah as new boss of the department.
Acccording to JOY BUSINESS sources at the Presidency, the appointment was made today, Tuesday April 05, 2016.
It is however unclear what will happen to the current Controller, Grace Francisca Adzrone.
Seidu Kotomah is the Acting Deputy Controller and Accountant General in charge of Financial Management Services (FMS).

Prior to his appointment to the current position, he held a number of significant positions including the Director of the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS), Head of Payroll, Director of Internal Audit and Investigation and Head of Main Accounts.
He has also served as Treasury Officer in Washington DC and Assistant Treasury Officer in London. He was employed by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) in September 1989.
He brings to the position a rich wealth of experience in Public Sector Accounting spanning over 21 years Mr. Kotomah is a Chartered Accountant by profession.
He also holds an MBA from Middlesex University, London and BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ghana. He also undertook an ACCA course at Financial Training Company in London, United Kingdom.
