The chief of Buru-Navio, Pe Adam Kwarasei II, a community under Paga in the Kasena-Nankana West district of the Upper East region is currently under police protection after escaped an attack on him at his palace yesterday.
The attack was a result of a long-standing chieftaincy dispute in the area.

The Buru-Navio chief, Pe Kwarasei II, accused the paramount chief of Paga of masterminding his attack.
He also alleges that despite reporting previous attempts on his life to police, nothing was done about it.
