The Management of SIC Insurance Company Limited has appointed Mr. Bernard Kofi Ameah as the General Manager for Finance and Administration effective 1st April, 2016.
Mr. Ameah is a Chartered Accountant with over 29 years of extensive, varied and progressive experience in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations and General Management.
Until his appointment, he held the position of Chief Finance Officer with Aluworks Limited Ghana. He has previously also worked in varying financial positions with Panell Kerr Forster, Sethantsho and Associates and Cash Bazaar Holdings (Pty) Ltd. all in Botswana.
Mr Ameah is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and a fellow of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants. He also holds an MBA from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) Durban, South Africa.
In his role he would be responsible for delivering of SIC Insurance’s financial management strategy and will lead the business in key areas of Human Resource and general administration.
