Joy Business has chalked another milestone with its three minutes news feature, the “JOY BUSINESS VAN”.
The segment of the JOY BUSINESS REPORT was adjudged the Entrepreneur Business Programme of the Year at the prestigious Ghana Entrepreneur & Business Support Awards 2016 held Friday night.
The Awards which has been running for the past six years is organized by the Entrepreneurs Foundation Ghana (EFG) under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
It is aimed at recognizing and honouring outstanding Ghanaian and non-Ghanaian permanent resident entrepreneurs and serve as a motivation for budding Ghanaian entrepreneurs in the small, medium and large enterprises.
“We engaged many entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the entrepreneurial space and JOY BUSINESS VAN was adjudged by a majority of them as the Business Support Programme of the Year”, CEO of the Entrepreneurs Foundation Ghana Sam Ato Gaisie told JOY BUSINESS
Presenter of the newsfeature, Daryl Kwawu who received the award on behalf of the Multimedia Group said, “we are excited that our quest to project entrepreneurs and highlight their issues has received so much recognition”
It’s the second award the “JOY BUSINESS VAN” has won since it started airing in February 2014.
It won the SME reportage award at the 2014 SME Ghana Awards (SMEGA) for throwing the spotlight on the success stories of primarily outstanding Ghanaian Small and Medium scale Enterprises.
Thirty outstanding entrepreneurs in Ghana were inducted into a hall of fame at the ceremony graced by various dignitaries including the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Ekow Spio Garbrah.
