Police say three persons have died early Saturday morning in an accident at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.The bus, a Toyota Hiace with registration number GN 6554 Y was said to have been travelling from Nkawkaw to Accra when the accident occurred.The Nkawkaw Regional MTTU Commander, DSP Shaibu Osei, confirming the accident to Joy News said the cause of the accident was not yet known.He confirmed the death of the two elderly women who were pulled out of the‘mangled’ bus some minutes after the accident. The third person died later at the hospital.He said the injured victims, about 12, have so far been sent to the hospital for treatment including two girls - two and six years old.He described the condition of the victims who are responding to treatment as stable.Source: Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
