Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Capital Bank Ghana is promising exciting times for the bank for the rest of the year and the years ahead.
In a short address at the ‘Nite of Worship 2016’ organised by Capital Bank in collaboration with ICGC Calvary Temple, Reverend Fitzgerald Odonkor, said it is the hand of God that has steered the affairs of the Bank to achieve phenomenal growth.
“The God factor is the most important. It is God who has pushed the bank to its present position in the banking sector. There is, therefore, the need to bless the Lord”, he emphasized.
Worship Night is an annual event organized every mid-year by Capital Bank Ghana to thank Jehovah God, for seeing the bank through the first half of the year to seek His blessings for the remaining half of the year.
Rev. Odonkor noted that “the worship of God is connecting to the supernatural. It is a way of thanksgiving and realization of the supreme role of God in all things.”
Meanwhile, hundreds of gospel lovers who thronged the Temple in Sakumono on July 1 had more than a fill of joy from the ministering artistes but were also soaked in worship and praise of the maker.
Former lead singer for Soul Winners, Joe Mettle set the Temple auditorium alight with some inspiring songs while the Sword of Gibeon and Beautiful Melodeons from ICGC Calvary Temple, the melodious Chosen Vessels Choir from the University of Ghana and the Fragrance Choir from Capital Bank Ghana also showcased some fine gospel songs.
Capital Bank Ghana, formerly First Capital Plus Bank, is a wholly-owned Ghanaian Bank with the vision to become the local bank of excellence for African markets, providing the standard of measure for stakeholder return.
It is noted for innovation and it’s the first financial institution to introduce a deposit solution, which makes it possible for customers to deposit cash into their bank accounts anytime, any day, anywhere through their mobile phones without having to visit the banking hall.
Currently, Capital Bank has 18 operational branches across the country.
