The Chief of Tamale, Dapkema Naa Mahamadu, has dismissed a petition by some youth demanding the de-skinning of the Entertainment chief in the area.
Deema-Naa Mohammed Hafiz allegedly said in an interview on Zaa Radio he has had sex with half of all the ladies in the metropolis.
Some youth protested at Dapkema Naa Mahamadu’s palace Monday demanding that he de-skins the Deema-Naa for the comment.
Deema-Naa Hafiz has denied the allegation, insisting he rather said he has empowered more than half of the about 100,000 ladies in the metropolis.
The Chief of Tamale and his elders met the youth and his sub-chiefs to adjudicate and managers of Zaa Radio were summoned to produce a tape on the issue Tuesday, but they could not.
The chief, therefore, threw away the petition but banned his Entertainment Chief from further conducting radio interviews.
Spokesperson of the Tamale Chief Abass Salifu says the palace takes the allegation very seriously.
