An accident near Nkawkaw on the Accra Kumasi highway this morning has left dozens of travellers with serious injuries.
Nhyira FM’s Ohemeng Tawiah who chanced upon the scene says the situation is causing heavy traffic.
The accident involved a Mini-Urvan bus and an 80-seater bus.
The Mini-Urvan bus reportedly tried to make a U-turn and got ran into by Kumasi-bound 80-seater bus.
Ohemeng reports seeing many victims with broken limbs.
Officials of the Ghana National Fire Service, were immediately called to rescue passengers who were trapped in the accident vehicles.
