President John Evans Atta Mills is set to meet editors, media owners, senior journalists, show hosts and producers on Friday, January 7, at the Osu Castle for a close-up encounter.
The meeting which coincides with the president's two years in office is to afford media practitioners an opportunity to pick the thoughts of President Mills on thorny national issues.
This will be the third time the President is meeting with senior journalists since he came into office. He first met media men on his 100 days in office and then on the first anniversary of his administration.
President will brief the journalists on happenings within the country whiles offering them the opportunity to share their candid opinions and ask questions about the state of the nation.
According to Communications Director at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho, about 65 media practitioners from the electronic and print media will be attending the encounter. Also represented are the international media - BBC, CNN and Reuters, he told Asempa FM.
