Two women and a boy lost their lives when a mini bus on which they were travelling from Accra to Aflao collided at Akatsi on Monday. Fedina Klutse Dumashie, 33, of Dzodze and another woman yet to be identified died on the spot while the boy aged 11 died on arrival at the Akatsi District Hospital. Eight others including the two drivers are on admission at the Akatsi District Hospital. Mr Denis Fiakpui, Akatsi-Abor District Police Commander, told the GNA that the mini bus was travelling from Accra to Aflao through the Akatsi-Tadzewu-Dzodze by-pass. The sole passenger on the other vehicle with a Nigeria registered number travelling towards Accra escaped unhurt. Mr Fiakpui said on reaching Lume-Hugakope at about 1545 hours both drivers failed to give way to each other on the single tarred lane resulting in the collision. Source: GNA
